Opt Out of iRacing Data
BRAKE.GG builds public driver profiles from publicly available iRacing session and results data. If you'd rather not have your name and country shown publicly, you can opt out at any time. Opting out replaces your name with "Anonymous" and hides your country across the site, while keeping your performance data available to you.
How to opt out
To prove that you own the iRacing account, you'll connect with iRacing before you can opt out. The process only takes a minute:
- Sign in to BRAKE.GG, or create an account. If your iRacing account is already linked to an existing BRAKE.GG account, sign in to that account.
- Go to the Settings page and connect your iRacing account using the "Link iRacing Account" button. This confirms that you own the account.
- Once your iRacing account appears under Connected Accounts, tick the Opt out checkbox next to it.
That's it. Your name and country are immediately hidden everywhere on BRAKE.GG. You can toggle the Opt out checkbox off at any time to make your data public again.
Multiple iRacing accounts
Opting out applies per iRacing account. If you have more than one iRacing account linked, you can opt out of each one independently from the Settings page.
